Rent the Watershed Science Center

The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery is a great place to celebrate your special event. Adjacent to the banks of Issaquah Creek where magnificent salmon return every fall, the Watershed Science Center offers a unique setting for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, business retreats, workshops, and more.

FACILITY DESCRIPTION

The Watershed Science Center is one main hall, with a kitchen area that has two sinks, a microwave oven, coffeemaker, and refrigerator. The main room is carpeted, and there is available for use 14 6-foot tables, 49 adult chairs, and 28 junior (16-inch) chairs. On the hatchery grounds, the building is located at 80 Newport Way SW, Issaquah, WA.

You Supply
  • Serving utensils, plates, forks, napkins or any other necessary utensils
  • Tablecloths, if desired
  • Decorations
  • Any food or drinks (no alcohol is allowed in the facility)
  • Coffee and coffee filters
  • Projector
Important
No staples, pins or other devices that leave marks on the wall are allowed. All decorations must be removed from the building upon departure. No helium balloons are allowed on the hatchery grounds as they pose an environmental hazard (regular balloons are OK).
Rental Rates

FISH MEMBERS

$35/hour, 2-hour minimum, plus a $150 refundable cleaning and security deposit.

NON-FISH MEMBERS

$50/hour, 2-hour minimum, plus a $150 refundable cleaning and security deposit.

 In addition to payment we require completion of our rental agreement. Please click here to download the wsc-use-agreement-2 and mail to FISH, 125 West Sunset Way, Issaquah WA 98027.

Your deposit of $150 will be credited to your account no more than two weeks following your rental, assuming there is no damage or clean-up required.

  FISH retains the right to deny or terminate use of the facility in the event that the proposed or actual activity runs contrary to the mission of supporting salmon education, watershed stewardship and/or promotion of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, as determined in the sole discretion of FISH.
