Eileen Barber, retired businessperson and former Issaquah City Council member, has been a resident of Issaquah since 1976. She owned and operated the Ben Franklin Craft Store for 25 years. She is an active member of the community including a member of the Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years and served as President in 2003. She has also served as a member of the Downtown Issaquah Association and was President for two years. She was the recipient of the Business Person of the year in 1998 and Citizen of the Year in 2005. She has been a Salmon Days Volunteer for over 20 years and has served as the Salmon Days Committee Chair since 2004. She is a FISH Master Docent, has served on the Board of Directors for several years and currently serves as Treasurer.
