Beating the Odds: This portion of the exhibit details the long journey to spawning when the Salmon have to "Beat the Odds". From birth the Salmon have a life long struggle against predators such as birds and bears. Once they start their migration back to their birthplace to lay their eggs, the Salmon face additional predators such as Orcas and man.
