CURRENT PROJECT: Educational Exhibits
This section will enable you to get a sneak peak at our newest exhibits before they are completed.
The new exhibits will contain many different hands-on interactive displays for the public to use
as an educational guide while touring the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. The exhibits illustrate everything
from the native plant life here in Western Washington, to following the Salmon as they beat the odds
to spawn and survive!
In 2001 three new exhibits have been constructed.
"Can You Beat the Odds" by Puget Sound Energy, "Finding Their Way Home" by
Rowley Enterprises and Port Blakely Communities, and "Salmon I.D.s and
Behaviors" by the Fogg Family. All together these exhibits are worth about
$100,000.
